We understand that every now and then the item you purchased may not meet your satisfaction. If this is the case for your order, you must notify us of any problem with your product within 7 days of receipt or complete acceptance is implied. Exceptions may apply for gift items.
If the item you purchased doesn't meet your satisfaction and you need to return it, you can choose one of the following return options:
1) Return the item for credit on the card initially used to purchase the item.
2) Return the item for an in-store credit on shop.sunmountain.com. This option is most commonly used for items received as gifts.
FREE RETURNS FOR OUTERWEAR PURCHASES
We understand that guessing the right size can be tough sometimes, especially when you don't have the opportunity to try on a garment. We are happy to tell you that outwear purchases are eligible for free return shipping. If you choose to use the provided label, we will not deduct the $9.00 return fee. We want you to be confident that you can get the right size easily.
This offer is NOT valid on other purchases.
How to Return Merchandise
We recommend using a traceable shipping method when returning your official Sun Mountain Sports merchandise to Shop.SunMountain.
Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit card account number. In-store credits will be issued by the use of an electronic gift certificate. Please allow 5 days after we receive your return for credit to be issued to your credit card or for the gift certificate to be generated and sent.
Please follow these directions to return by parcel service:
• Simply call us at 1-855-465-3830 to receive a return authorization number.
• A return form is included in each order. Please fill out the form completely to properly and efficiently process your return.
• Clearly write your return authorization number on the outside of the box.
• Include all original packing materials and carton, manuals and accessories with the product. All returned product must be in new, unused condition.
• You may use the pre-paid return label included in the package if you so choose. Please note that a $9.00 fee will be deducted from your refund if the label is used to return your item.

Return for Credit on Card
If you choose to use the pre-paid return label, $9.00 will be deducted from your refund. The original outbound shipping in non-refundable. You will be given a full refund for the item(s) as long as the following requirements are met: the item is unused, the item is not damaged, and item is not personalized. All original tags and packing materials must be with your returned item. If your returned item is not in perfect condition, we may issue a partial refund. You are responsible for all freight charges including outgoing and return shipping. However, if the product was originally delivered to you damaged or defective or the wrong item was shipped, you will be credited for outgoing shipping in addition to the item. Please see our Defective Product and Returns section below.
Return for In-store Credit on shop.sunmountain.com
If you are returning an item for in-store credit, we will waive the $9.00 fee for using the return label. You will be given full credit (less initial outgoing shipping) for the item as long as the following requirements are met: the item is unused, the item is not damaged, and item is not personalized. If the product was originally delivered to you damaged or defective or the wrong item was shipped, you will be credited for the outgoing shipping in addition to the item. Please see our Defective Product and Returns section below.
We will issue the electronic gift certificate upon receipt of the returned item if you requested in-store credit. Please allow up to 5 days after the item is received to see a gift certificate in your email inbox. For questions regarding redeeming your gift certificate, please call 1-855-465-3830.
Defective Product and Returns Due to Our Error
You may return defective items, items damaged at the time of receipt, and incorrect items received without penalty. Your return shipping charges will be waived if you use the return label. We will not reimburse you for return charges if you ship by your own method.
When we receive your return, we will inspect the item and issue a full refund if the product is defective. If the product is not defective, return shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.
